Lisa has been acting - primarily stagework - for over four decades. She completed a two-year part-time course in acting, voice and movement at The Questors Theatre, Ealing in the mid-1980s and co-founded PlayGC Theatre Company in 2020.
Lisa’s natural accent is Surrey/RP but she has a good ear for a range of accents. She is a versatile performer with a particular strength in classical roles and verse-speaking (winner of ‘Best Poetry & Spoken Word’ performance at the Shaftesbury Fringe 2023) as well as in comic roles.
